Advisory Board
The Medical Advisory Board of the Eye Surgery
Education Council is comprised of four leading ophthalmologists,
whose role is to review all campaign activity, provide medical
expertise, and ensure scientific accuracy. The board advises
and supports the ESEC in its endeavor to educate the public
about the benefits and risks of laser eye surgery, with a
focus on the importance of active discussion between patients
and their physicians.

Bureau
The Speakers Bureau of the Eye Surgery
Education Council is comprised of medical advisory board members,
as well as six additional ophthalmologists, all considered
leaders in the field of laser eye surgery. This group is the
public voice of the ESEC -- its members serving as the core
campaign spokespeople. The Speakers Bureau supports the ESEC
in its endeavor to reach consumers by sharing key educational
messages with the public and with the media on both a local
and a national level.
