Robert K. Maloney, MD, MA(Oxon), founding
director of the UCLA Laser Refractive Center at the Jules
Stein Institute, has trained over 700 surgeons in the use
of the excimer laser. He currently serves as director of the
Maloney-Seibel Vision Institute.
Ophthalmology Times has recognized Dr. Maloney as one
of American's Top 10 vision correction surgeons. He is listed
in the Who's Who in the World and Braun's Best Doctors
in America.
Dr. Maloney is on the original articles editorial board of
the Journal of Refractive Surgery. His numerous broadcast
appearances include NBC's Extra, ABC's 20/20 and Prime
Time Live, PBS's Life & Times, and Fox's Good Day L.A.
He has given more than 100 lectures in 14 countries.
Dr. Maloney is a Rhodes Scholar who trained at Oxford University,
Harvard University, the University of California at San Francisco
and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
